Grovo iPhone, iPad and Platform Flexibility lessons provide online training on how to use the many features of the new devices provided through Clergy and Sisters Connect programs. The online training has been well utilized, peaking with over 500 lesson views by about 40 clergy members in just one day leading up to the end of their training period. Nearly 250 members of the clergy participated in the program over the three months the training was offered, viewing hundreds of micro-lessons to enhance their user experience, all while enjoying the flexibility and convenience of their new devices.
The online training consists of individual micro-lessons on various topics, with each topic explained in a brief 1-2 minute video followed by a two question quiz to check for understanding. These strings of lessons together make up a training course and can be viewed in succession or a la carte as needed. A sample training in iPhone basics is detailed below, covering topics from finding apps on your phone to taking a video:
